Legislation passed on 22nd February 2022 by the Chamber of Deputies (Camera dei deputati) further extends the current membership of the Italian Medicines Agency (Agenzia Italiana del Farmaco)’s Pricing and Reimbursement Committee (Comitato prezzi e rimborso, CPR) and Scientific Technical Advisory Commission (Commissione consultiva tecnico-scientifica, CTS) until 30th June 2022. The National Recovery and Resilience Plan (Piano nazionale di ripresa e resilienza) had extended the membership of the CPR and CTS until 28th February 2022 pending the reorganisation of AIFA, which now looks to have been delayed. The legislation will now be considered by the Senate (Senato).
